The REHAU System 2500 lift-slide door is an impressive option for creating unique and inspiring living spaces.
In contrast to conventional sliding doors, this specially engineered door system can be built to fill significantly larger than normal openings while offering an almost effortless sash operation and instant architectural appeal. The unique hardware operation allows the door, when lowered, to seat securely within the gasketing system.
The System 2500 lift-slide door design also performs great. It features design details such as four-chamber profiles, a thermally broken threshold and compression-seal technology that protects from air, dust and water infiltration.
This design offers a unique combination of oversized openings, compression-seal technology for high energy performance and effortless sash operation all in a traditional sliding panel aesthetic.
The door comes in white and can be foiled with either solid colors or woodgrain foils.

FOUR-CHAMBER DESIGN ACHIEVES EXCELLENT THERMAL AND SOUND INSULATION
Seals on the bottom of the sash compress once the sash is lowered in the closed position.
Thermally broken frame and threshold reduce heat loss and the risk of condensation.
PERFORMANCE/TESTING
This lift-slide door design resists intrusion attempts with a feature requiring it to open with a lifting action that can only be performed from the inside. Interlocks at the meeting rail provide further security. With insulated glass unit (IGU) thickness of 1 in (25 mm) to 1 3/4 in (44 mm), the System 2500 is suitable for all Energy Star zones in the United States and Canada.

FINISHES
REHAU offers the extruded window profiles in four core colors. The proprietary uPVC formulation provides resistance against weathering with above-average quantities of Ti02 stabilizers and impact modifiers protecting against fading from solar radiation. After five years of weather testing in Arizona, REHAU's proprietary profile formulation performed better than standard uPVC. Our surface quality and higher gloss level help repel dirt and improve the trueness of color.
